Be prepared for bad weather

April showers don’t always bring May flowers. Springtime in the Rockies means we all have to be prepared for any type of weather at any time.
According to NOAA, every year, Americans are forced to cope with: 10,000 severe thunderstorms, 5,000 floods or flash floods, 1,000 tornadoes, and 2 land-falling deadly hurricanes. As a result, there are around 500 deaths per year and nearly $15 billion in damage.
Don’t wait for a severe weather event to prepare. Form plans, build an emergency kit, and keep you, your family, and your home safe during this unpredictable weather season.
